Reconstruction Complete!

All the files, images and other content have now been integrated into the databases.

The job of rebuilding this site to fit the “house style” of Walking Britain is now complete. The process was completed in record time, exceeding my expectations by a couple of months! It would be appreciated if you could let me know if you spot anything untoward. It is very hard to spot every error when you are dealing with so much data.

With this major task out of the way, I can now concentrate on adding new content. This has already started with a nice series of photos submitted by Anna Bradley from her recent visit to Zermatt and Grindelwald. In the near future I will be adding more walks including some from the Cantons of Valais, Graubunden and Berne. It is also hoped to be able to add further walks from other areas.

As with the other web sites, you the site visitor are very much part of the scene. It is you who drives content and hopefully helps to make this another great site. In this respect walks, photos and panoramas are all welcome and will be added as soon as possible.
