Zermatt Walks

Three new walks in the Zermatt area have just been added. These will be supplemented by more in the near future

The inclusion of more walks in the Zermatt area marks the extension of coverage in the Canton of Valais/Wallis. Obviously Zermatt is synonymous with the Matterhorn and many of the walks in Mattertal include excellent views of this Swiss icon.

Following on from the walks in Mattertal are a number of routes in the nearby Saas Valley also in Valais/Wallis. These include a variety of walks from a gentle lakeside stroll to a more adventurous route including a glacier crossing. After the Valais/Wallis walks have been added there will a return to the St.Moritz area with more routes from this wonderful part of Switzerland.
